HENCH is a family-run business based in South Australia, founded by us - Jodie and Adam - a husband-and-wife team. We started this brand with one mission: to make high-quality, natural soap for men who care about what they put on their skin.

It all began in our own kitchen, when we were fed up with supermarket soaps full of harsh chemicals and mystery ingredients. With skin sensitivities in the family and a shift toward more natural living, we were determined to create something better - for ourselves and for others like us. We wanted a bar that could handle real skin and real life - so we rolled up our sleeves and made our own.

We spent months experimenting, testing, and tweaking formulas until we landed on a bar that ticked all the boxes: tough enough to handle hard-working skin, but gentle enough to leave it feeling good. We wanted to give men a solid skincare option that wasn’t full of nonsense - and more importantly, something proudly Australian made.
